Did I Lose a Lot of Muscle? Two Months of not working out upper body.?
I have stopped working out for two months because i want to become good at cycling which is a VERY demanding sport. i was crazy at one point to be light and stopped working out the upper body and started working out my legs.
before i benched 145 pounds 28 times.
now i bench 145 pounds only 14 times.
i gained a lot of muscle on my legs.
i plan to start working out again. did bike riding contribute to more muscle loss or would it be the same if i did not work out my legs at all.
You may have lost muscle, but there is hope. Muscles have what’s called “muscle memory”…they expand like a balloon, and the next time you hit the gym hard and heavy, the size and strength will come back much quicker.
